Clay Hurtubise
Having been
a drug pusher (pharmacist) most of his life, Clay returns to his
love of writing. Until the age of 18, he had never been farther west
than the eastern side of Vermont. In 1975 all that changed when Clay
went to the University of Wyoming. While preparing for a different
culture, the extent of change was at times was overwhelming. As an
eighteen year old out on his own, 2,320 miles from home, adventure was
sure to happen.
Throughout his life Clay has experienced an unusual number of close calls, which for the longest time he thought was normal. His folks lovingly called his being born an ‘accident’, now he'd like to share some of the other accidents he's had. ‘Drug Trip’ is part one of a trilogy and ‘Shaman: The Devil’s Deal’ will become what you, the reader, wants it to become.

Living Dead T-Shirt:

Darkness dwells upon my soul,
Plans are formed for final goal.

Spiritual yes, but hold no mass.

Drug Trip Book Description
DRUG TRIP is a memoir of the numerous close calls with death told in a humorous way. It deals with all types of human interaction as Chris finds his way from Wyoming to California and back during a week off from college in the late 1970’s. His steady companion is a Yamaha 650 motorcycle, which is able to take the multiple accidents and events in stride just as Chris does himself. His encounters range from a greasy gang member, thieves, two fragile saviors, and some wonderful police. During the first day, after riding through a blustery snowstorm, he nearly dies, twice. 144 pages
